7/31/2023 0 Comments Faith family finances![]() It’s been a priority of mine for a few years now, but the pandemic made me assess my options and press the pause button on my search. I’m getting soooo close to moving out and buying my own house. No matter what your job is, I’m sure there are people around you who go above and beyond to get the most out of you! The effort and energy they give have helped lead me in the right direction and hone my skills. They’re all committed to my improvement and want to see me thrive when I’m out there on the golf course. I wouldn’t be where I am without my team, including my coaches, sponsors and mentors. Golf may seem like it is an individual sport from the outside, but as with many other professions it takes a village to succeed and achieve the very best outcomes. It’s delicious! I’m also baking a warm cranberry apple crisp, which is to absolutely die for.Īfter a lonnnnnnnng year of traveling and competing, I’m thrilled to kick back, relax and catch up with my family.īut, for me, my family extends beyond just my actual family. My favorite dish is sweet potato casserole, which we make extra sweet with pecans and marshmallows. It’s the one day of the year where you don’t have to feel so guilty about going back for seconds and then maybe even thirds. Let’s be real, though - Thanksgiving is also about eating, eating and some more eating. When the Knights get together, we laugh and have a blast. I absolutely love reminiscing about old stories and making new memories while we’re at it. I can’t wait! We always traveled to grandma’s when I was growing up, and it’s a tradition I look forward to every November. This week, I’m heading to my grandma’s house down in Oklahoma to celebrate Thanksgiving with so many of my family members. Where would I be without my support system? I still have to pinch myself every morning, and I know for a fact my nine-year-old self would think this is pretty cool. I still have so much to accomplish and even more to learn, but I’m thankful to be living out my dream on the LPGA Tour. Hard work pays off! I couldn’t be happier with how my year has unfolded, especially with seven top-15 finishes, and how far I’ve come as a professional golfer. I told myself if I can put in the practice and have faith in my process, the results would take care of themselves. My ball-striking, putting and chipping were much stronger and more consistent than ever. I know winning is what everyone shoots for (and I do, too!), but I’m really proud of myself for fine-tuning every part of my craft. I’ve tried my best! I really went into this season with the goal of improving all facets of my game rather than getting too fixated on the leaderboard at events. In 2022, I’ve been fortunate enough to enjoy a tremendous amount of success on the course. While my spiritual beliefs, principles and values have shaped me as a person, through all the highs and lows I’ve experienced, a different kind of “faith” has played a pivotal role as I’ve advanced in my career. I couldn’t ask for anything more! When I take a step back, three really big things come to mind:įaith is super important to me, and it’s always guided me in everything I do and everywhere I want to go. ![]() I have so many amazing gifts to be grateful for - and I’m sure you do, too! From my career on the LPGA Tour to the incredible people I’m surrounded by, I’m filled with so much grace and gratitude every single day. ![]() Focusing on progress, peace and perspective puts me in a way better place. I think we can all admit there’s a lot of negativity in the world, but I’m choosing to keep a positive attitude. In addition to eating great food, I’ve always thought Thanksgiving provides the perfect opportunity to reflect on what’s good in my life. If you haven’t noticed, I’m a tad excited. Of course, before we can start trimming the tree, we have to trim the turkey first. The lights, decorations and carols - and, yes, shopping! - bring me a little extra comfort and joy every winter. Financial wellness & participant experienceīut it’s officially the holiday season! This may be cheesy to say, but it’s truly the most wonderful time of the year.

7/31/2023 0 Comments Gitx osx![]() Although it's not a native app, but it comes with extensive set of features. GitKraken is a free macOS Git GUI client. I too am a heavy user of SourceTree, but keep up with it's minor annoyances. The list is a living document with new apps getting added over time.Īs you are looking for a macOS app with support for granular staging/unstaging support, I'll list one free and one paid tool each here which I use/have used personally. The listed tools differ in their performance and feature set. There are various free as well as commercial macOS Git GUI apps available as listed on Git SCM webpage. Make staging line hunks more obvious #1688.One popular Git GUI app, GitHub Desktop, apparently has no plans to support Split View Staging: ![]() ![]() What other macOS Git GUI app or tool offers a commit/staging view similar to Split View Staging offered by SourceTree? A file can exist in both the staged and unstaged panes. This allows you to easily see exactly which changes are staged at any given time, and commit only those specific changes. All of the unstaged changes are shown in the other pane. Then, all of the currently staged changes are shown in a single pane of the split view. This view allows individual lines, hunks, or single-character changes to be staged independently. This view perfectly fits my mental model of how a staging view should work. The problem is that I'm heavily dependent on SourceTree's Split View Staging view of the staging area. I would very much like to reduce my dependency on Atlassian's product. Unfortunately, SourceTree is incredibly slow, buggy, lacking features, and rarely updated. I'm very productive with the app and find it far preferable to the command line Git interface for common tasks. 7/31/2023 0 Comments Full frame mirrorless vs dslr![]() The camera comes equipped with higher-end features like a screen that pops out and articulates. At under $900 with a 15-45 mm lens included, the EOS M50 offers an affordable entry. This simplifies operations for users growing manually controlling aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Slower speeds aren’t great for tracking shotsĬanon's EOS M50 compact mirrorless camera assists beginners with a single mode dial filled with shot presets for portraits, sports, and landscapes.Below are galleries filled with test photos from each camera so you can compare details and differences in visual quality that we touch on in the reviews below. Bright sunlight during the day provided high-contrast shots so we could look at details in dark areas to assess dynamic range. To test tracking performance with a moving object, we had cyclists ride 12 miles per hour straight downhill as we panned our cameras along their path. We hit the road to take pictures in different scenes and lighting conditions. After this, we tested ISO by raising its sensitivity while shooting a portrait. Next, we timed how long it took the system to refocus on a still subject standing seven feet away in an all-white studio background. To test autofocus, we set each camera atop a tripod and unfocused it. The four areas we focused on were autofocus speeds, low-light performance, tracking objects in motion, and battery life. We spent a week shooting photos in RAW format with each camera in environments from our controlled studio to outdoor scenes. But since mirrorless cameras are constantly powering the monitor, their batteries often die faster. What you see on the EVF or monitor is what you get when you shoot. They often start at a higher price point than a DSLR and there are fewer lenses available, but DSLR owners making the conversion can always grab a mount adapter. Mirrorless cameras ditch the bulky mirror mechanism to instead relay a live-processed view to a screen and electronic viewfinder (EVF). This system saves on battery life because there is no processor or always-on display, which a mirrorless camera requires. When you capture an image, the mirror shifts out of the way. As light passes through that mirror it refracts to the viewfinder. When you look through the viewfinder of a traditional DSLR camera, you’re actually seeing a reflection from a mirror behind the lens. The Difference Between Mirrorless and DSLR Cameras ![]() However, mirrorless cameras are the new kid on the block, offering the same advantages in image quality as DSLR cameras but in lighter bodies and with advanced features like live digital image processing to help you properly expose photos. DSLR cameras have long been the go-to prosumer camera for capturing detailed photos thanks to their bigger sensors and variety of lenses that more basic digital cameras and smartphones can’t match. When it comes to buying a camera, your choice boils down to two main options: Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) or mirrorless. 7/31/2023 0 Comments Project debut carbon dc alignment![]() Kal gave it to them as part of a dedicated mono system with an EICO integrated amp and single JBL speaker. Turntable as family heirloom? My Thorens TD 124 was originally the property of the aunt and uncle of Stereophile Senior Contributing Editor Kalman Rubinson. A turntable is a time machine that can bring endless years of enjoyment to you, your family, and your friends. I delight in that second when the stylus is gently lowered to the record's surface and it begins to give up its secrets. Every turntable, like every other audio component, imbues the music with its own personality. No matter a particular 'table's position in the audiophile food chain, I always enjoy hearing what it can extract from my beloved vinyl grooves. Players can also create their own maps via an in-game editor. Items are purely visual and do not give bonus stats. Players can also buy virtual clothing items by purchasing 'fraises', an in-game currency that can be obtained by paying real money. Players can use this currency to buy virtual clothing items for their mouse in the game's item shop. In addition to not being able to use red nails and the Spirit tool, a divine mode shaman cannot use yellow nails which connect and stabilize most objects, nor can they use a totem. After saving 5,000 total mice, 2,000 being in hard mode, a player will unlock the 'divine mode' Shaman setting, a setting released as an update on May 26, 2014. A completed totem construction can be summoned instantly as a hard mode Shaman and is immediately functional, but may only be summoned once per map. Totems can be constructed with up to 20 objects, but only one red nail may be used as an anchor. In lieu of this, hard mode Shamans can create a pre-made 'totem', which is constructed on an in-game editor map. Spirit is the only object allowed to be cast outside of summoning range. In hard mode, a Shaman cannot use red nails which anchor an object solidly, nor can they use the Spirit tool, which can push mice and objects with a flash of light. Upon reaching 1,000 total saves as a Shaman, a player can choose to become a 'hard mode' Shaman. Blue nails connect two objects but are loose and can rotate. Yellow nails connect to most other objects, particularly red-nailed ones, and keep an object's placement, but can move. Red nails keep an object firmly grounded and will not move, but it can rotate on the anchor. A Shaman can 'anchor' or connect planks and boxes to other world objects or summoned objects with various-colored nails. ![]() The Shaman can do so by summoning objects such as planks, boxes, anvils, spirit, and balloons to create buildings or contraptions such as bridges to cross gaps or various other obstacles. Doing so will award the Shaman with "saves" for each mouse who completes the map, which are recorded onto the player's profile. ![]() The general objective of the Shaman is to help the other mice obtain the cheese and bring it back to the hole. The timer will change to 20 seconds if the Shaman dies or there if are only two mice left on the map. Maps can instantly switch before the time limit if all players complete the map or die. Maps have a general time limit of two minutes, at which time a new map is loaded. Players are also given extra recognition in their stats for finishing first when there are eleven or more players in the room. Collecting cheese is recorded into a player's permanent stats when there are about 2 or more players in the room. Bonus points are awarded for players who place first, second or third. You ever want to change the foreground and the background colors you can just hit this little tool right here. Also one thing that’s very important here is that there is a switch button. When you are willing for a different background color, you can either change it before or after you go ahead or create your new document. If I hit OK here we get a new image document with a background layer and that background is white. Hence, the color that’s behind is always the background color so that means if I create this it’s going to be created with background color white. That is going to be whatever color you have selected here and this tool sidebar. The thumbnails that you might see on a YouTube video also in the Advanced Options you may notice that the default fill is the background color. The thing is for instance I often do things at 1920 by 1080 pixels because that’s the standard 1080p resolution for video. In some cases, you’re on the metric system centimeters or meters but here we’ll go back to pixels for now and we can return the image size to something more reasonable. Let’s say you’re making a poster that would be an example of when you need to change it from pixels to inches. Go to Advanced options here you can see that you can change the pixels per inch which you might want to make something like 300 if you’re trying to do a very high quality print out of an actual image for instance. In case, you’re only worried about digital formats but if you need to print anything out later you may prefer to do something like inches. ![]() This is going to be height which is bottom to top now this can be measured in pixels which is generally what you want to use.
